Kousa Dogwood. Among the hardiest of flowering dogwoods available. Covered with 3" to 5" white blossoms in late spring. Lustrous, medium green leaves cover the delicate limb structure of multi-stemmed shrub, or with training small tree to 20 feet. In late summer, raspberry like red fruit hangs from the branches. Growth habit: 6" to 10" per year. Zone 5-8. Low temp tolerance to: -20 degrees F.

Emerald Arborvitae. Neat, dense-growing columnar-shaped evergreen plant with deep emerald green foliage. Commonly used in landscapes for hedge rows, as sentry plants at walkway ends. Arborvitae variety not as fast growing as other varieties. Growth habit: 6" to 10" per year. Zone 4-9. Low temp tolerance to: -30 F.

Red-leaf Japanese Maple. Delicate cut, brilliant ruby-red leaves in spring time, giving way to darker maroon then purple as summer progresses. Brighter in sun. A small landscape tree used in more formal gardens and courtyards. Perfect for large deck planters. Growth habit: 6" to 10" per year. Zone 5-8. Low temp tolerance to: -20 degrees F.

Giant Sequoia. Also known as Giant Redwood. An impressive addition to large landscape areas. Reaches heights of 325 feet with 30 foot diameter trunk. Growth habit: 12" to 24" per year. Zone 5-9. Low temp tolerance to: -20
degrees F.

Colorado Blue Spruce. With distinctive gray-blue needles, this tree is generally used as an accent plant in landscapes. Tree color can vary from dark green through all shades of blue green to powder-white blue. Growth habit: 6" to 10" per year. Zone 2-8. Low temp tolerance to: -50 degrees F.


Deodara Cedar. Native to the Himalayas. A graceful tree with softer, lighter texture than other cedars. Excellent tree for use as privacy screen or natural fence. Reaching heights of 80 ft. with 40 ft. spread at ground. Growth habit: 8" to 12" per year. Zone 7-9. Low temp tolerance to: -0 degrees F.

Douglas Fir. A magnificent, native Pacific Northwest tree is a favorite of many gardeners. These trees are widely grown to be used as Christmas trees throughout the country. It has a sweet fragrance. Douglas Firs will grow from 70 to 250 feet. Growth habit: 8" to 12" per year. Zone 4-8. Low temp tolerance to: -30 degrees F.

Austrian Pine. This tree has strong character and can serve well as a landscape decoration, as a windbreak or border tree. It has 4" to 6" handsome dark green needles. Usually not more than 40 feet in gardens at maturity; very broad. Growth habit: 8" to 12" per year. Zones 4-8. Low temp tolerance to: -30 degrees F.

Ponderosa Pine. One of the most widely dispersed timber trees in North America. Some of the longest needles among pines - 7 to 11". Large landscape area tree will reach 50 feet in 50 years, eventually to 150 feet or more. Growth habit: 12" to 24" per year. Zone 4-9. Low temp tolerance to: -30 degrees F.

Green-leaf Japanese Maple. The most airy and delicate of all maples, this magnificent small, green cut-leaf tree is renowned for its brilliant orange or scarlet in the fall; new growth in the spring is a glowing red; summer leaves are soft green. Often used as a featured tree in landscapes, rock gardens and courtyards, perfect for large deck planters-extremely versatile. Growth habit: 6" to 10" per year. Zone 5-8. Low temp tolerance to: -20
degrees F.
